    Becker'S Model Railroad Supply

Those who are planning to become big in the future, that is in the context of carving a niche in a chosen field of human pursuit has to start from scratch. Some of the big names in the corporate world have truly started from humble beginnings. Such is the case of Becker's Model Railroad Supply.

The growing number of railroad model manufacturers is a clear sign that railroad modeling is getting more popular among hobbyists. Though this hobby is relatively expensive that definitely requires a hefty cash for its upkeep, still the response of people is undaunted by the cost of the railroad models. More and more individuals have gone loco to this hobby. This also gives new dimension for those who have penchant for matchbox cars and the like.

There is no denying that the manufacturers of railroad models are competing neck to neck just to get the larger slice of the market while others are content with the distrbution of the different products. A new player in the industry, Becker's Model Railroad Supply, though not yet a big name in the industry, at least in New Brighton, Minnesota it is making a name on its own. It is one of the leading suppliers and distributors of railroad model in the area. This company is slowly gaining prominence because of its wide array of products and their availability of the stocks that most hobbyists look for.

Becker's Model Railroad Supply started way back in 1973 as W.C. Becker Enterprises. It first operated on part time basis in the mail order business. It was only in 1993 that the company finally operated in full swing as a distributor and supplier of wide range of railroad models. The new Becker's Model Railroad Supply store is located at the Rice Creek Shopping Center. It actually owns at least 7,500 models of railroads of different brand names. The model railroads are mostly of HO (half zero) scale. Just by the look of their busy store, the clutter all around is a clear manifestation that the business of Becker's Model Railroad Supply is growing with a promising prospect.

The store is usually open at 10:30 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon every Wednesday and Friday. The store opens on the same time but closes until 7 in the evening while on Saturdays the store open 30 minutes earlier and closes at 5 in the afternoon. The store is close every Sunday and Monday.

The company has jus made a truth out of the cliché that great things come from small beginnings. In deed Becker's is now a household name at least in Minnesota.
